Kasey here!
Quick prayer request:
- It's extremely different here, and it's harder adjusting than I thought it'd be. Blech. Please pray that I have patience while I get used to my new surroundings.
We just returned from 2 years spent in Israel, where Jon received his Masters degree and Kasey taught science at The Jerusalem Schools. Now we're moving to North Carolina to begin (or, in Kasey's case, continue) our careers as teachers!
I will pray for you sweetie. I can't wait to hear all the stories.
ReplyDeleteI should probably set up an account over here huh?

... Oh SWEET! I can sign in with my LJ name!
This is the 3rd time trying to comment on this silly thing. Dad showed me and even Dulcie tried explaining it to me so here goes...
ReplyDeleteOf course I'm looking VERY forward to the two of you finally being able to settle into a routine, ie. your own apartment for just the two of you, water, and a schedule, church (have you gone to a service since you've been there?) work and of course time for each other!!
Love,
Mom/Laurel
Looking forward to your post. I know it must be tough for you guys, Europe is a minor adjustment, the middle east must be a huge adjustment. Especially where you guys are living. Stiff upper lip, keep your head down, and remember the goal! I know, easy for me to say.
ReplyDeletePraying for you big time.

Hey Kasey and Jon,
ReplyDeleteOh so good to hear from you.........what an exciting adventure although lack of food and water would be a little on the challenging side. Sounds like you are taking things one day at a time.......way the go guys.
